Attean got mad when Friday became Crusoe slave because he believed that he was a free man and if you were a slave you would die. So he got mad at that.
I think that Attean is mad because Friday is like a Indian/a black person, and I think that he is thinking that Robinson Crusoe is making a slave out of Friday. Or maybe he thinks Crusoe is like the king and and Friday is like a little poor villager. So i can understand why Attean is mad.
I agree with you Connor because Attean didn't want Friday to be a slave because when Friday nelt down to be his slave Attean said he no slave he free not slave for white man.
